So many people seething about the ending, not getting closure, not seeing the bad guys lose, not getting what they want. Mainstream audiences only ever want the same thing over and over again, like dining at McDonalds.

Squid Game's ending ultimately prioritized meaning and message over satisfying the brainlet audience. It has successfully exposed millions of people as unintelligent beyond repair. I'm not sure we have ever seen a movie or TV execute this on such a large scale before.

Why are people mad?

From the start it was over-the-top chaotic fun. Season 3 was over-the-top chaotic fun. Did stupid ppl fool themselves into believing they were watching a story of high quality?

Sometimes you just have to enjoy a ride for what it is. It's the same deal with the manga it was deriving from, Kamisama no Iutoori. Just a run crazy ride and nothing more.
