Maelle is a whiny bitch who wanted to live in Barbie dreamland forever with her made-up creatures/friends. She hated her family and basically felt like "Oh, well if I go back to LE REALITY, I'll just kill myself because I have no life to live in reality."

Verso was a piece of shit, but almost every character in the game had their flaws. Maelle is just as bad as Verso, so honestly none of them deserve a happy ending. Maelle certainly doesn't deserve one either. The ONLY person who did NOTHING WRONG and deserved a happy ending was Renoir
