He just wanted an Evangelion reference in the game, which tend to be common in Japanese works especially in the mecha genre . Her music is pretty good. Nothing earth shattering, but it's good to listen too when you've got nothing to do. It's even better to watch her concerts tbqh. What surprised me the most is how much of a dork she is (in the cute, endearing way). I never knew cute, hot women could love anime and Japanese culture so much along with video games in addition to being feminine, kind, smart and easy to get along with. Frankly, I wish there were more women like her in the world.
