I think you misread that scene a bit. That was Yoru abusing her newfound ability to emotionally manipulate people. It was the first of many stabs in Asa's back and the reason why their relationship is so strained. Asa can no longer trust her and probably prefers not to deal with her as she's "unpleasant".
