I believe the story of Nadu goes that he was sitting as a filler legend version of pic related in the file for MH3 with the same statline as the Nadu we know today. Well, somebody got worried about this nothing burger because it granted shit flash like Prophet of Kruphix and quickly slammed through a last minute change onto him which was so late it never reached playtesting. So Nadu happened because someone thought a card that did half of what Prophet of Kruphix did was going to break the format.
