That's sort of by desing. You can't even fit all build options of the Mega kit into a 2000 points list, because each individual is meant to be that impactful.
That being said there's defineitly some flexibility with more specialized Mancrushers to better mirror the variety of their mega bosses.
Especially with Mancrusher being the only old kit in the army
