While I can't say what their full fluff is, they COULD have made it interesting by stating that they were one of the really corrupted elves that escaped Teclis' purges and had been corrupted by Slaanesh enough that they were of no specific gender and as such went and hid in the abyss because they feared persecution or fear from the Deepkin due to them being obviously corrupted... If you want to play AOS and are racist then I suggest you play Seraphon, DoK, IDK, LRL, Sylvaneth, any death army, Nurgle, Skaven, or any destruction army. GW does not have any of the models painted with brown skin tones on their web store for those. If, however, you are racist and sexist, the list would be Seraphon, OBR, Skaven, or any destruction army. For those there are no women as well. Khorne, Nurgle, and Tzeentch are notable in that they have very few, if not only one, woman/brown models. Follow your heart and play what you think looks the coolest though. I just see a lot of posts about culture war nonsense, and I figured I would let you folks know that there are options out there that may meaningfully suit your desires on the tabletop.

And like, these things were made before everyone cared about this stuff. Writers would just slot in an amulet that flips a characters sex into shit like baldurs gate or that one really tough DnD dungeon, without thinking about it because it was just fun. Norse and greek legends, in particular, had a lot of gender bending for schemes, sex, storyteller forgetfulness, that sort of thing.

Like, if anything is weird about AOS when considering its source material, it's how prudish and PG the characters are. That's probably what marks it out as being "modern" is an unwillingness to let the characters engage in sloppy immoral crimes and wholly modern sensibilities. I dont want to paint a dozen dicks on warriors of chaos minis per say, but that would probably make the setting feel like a more genuine attempt to capture the "age of myth" that theyre so clearly attempting to ape.

Now that I type ot out, that feels like what bothers me about AOS aesthetics and story. Its like... clearly, they want to take on the hype and energy of mythology while restraining themselves to some broad corporate concept of PG when actually writing it out. Still, the minis still look fantastic, so I've been buying them regardless, but I dont think I can get into this setting the way I have others.

The Sons of Behemat are the faction with the fewest miniatures and if you don't believe me just look at the image. Taking out King Brodd and Kragnos, they only have 6, two common Gargants and four mega-Gargants. I hope that with the supposed update they will have in the 5th edition they add more miniatures. That's sort of by desing. You can't even fit all build options of the Mega kit into a 2000 points list, because each individual is meant to be that impactful.
That being said there's defineitly some flexibility with more specialized Mancrushers to better mirror the variety of their mega bosses.
Especially with Mancrusher being the only old kit in the army
