I think FA Gundam(TB) did forearm mounted cannons perfectly
In fact those subarms carrying shields could absolutely carry two beam cannons that are built into the shield, kind of like Calamitys shield but just bigger, longer and thicker.

Can that Byarlant scoot those forearm mounted cannons back or would they clip the shoulder thrusters? They look a bit exposed unless they can retract back and forward when ready to fire

Now that's good stuff, like how the shoulder cannon on that full armor gundam has that Turret MG look especially with the shield there.


You guys know how Forbidden can bend beams with those magnetic fields? I would love to see that returning more often because since artillery in the traditional sense wouldn't work in space because no gravity.... But with that thing being able to bend beams it would be great to see it on a heavy artillery suit.

You have a brigade of artillery suits hiding behind cover of space debris and asteroids and rain down WW1 style hellfire on the enemy without having to expose yourself enemy fire and beams
