You are trying to escape reality now but you can't. Not even in anime. You would have said completely different thing a decade ago when the Western society was seemingly functional, its media still being powerful and liberalism was still somewhat spreading, even have said "Well, anime weaboo culture is somewhat aesthetic but it doesn't talk about real world issue like supreme and complicated western culture." Burying your head and trashing everything doesn't change anything.
