Legends of Runeterra (League's card game) gave Gangplank his own pirate crew and ship.
If we go with Canon gangplank he is a fairly normal athletic human with access to an insane amount of explosives + he has a "super form" empowered by the Ruined King (although I don't know if he can access this on his own)
If we go full apeshit with League not only he can scale to lots of characters but he can also get a bunch of item passives, League Gangplank (gameplay wise) has always been an abomination that can build fucking anything and still beat your ass from tank to critical strikes, full on hit effects, bruiser, lethality, you name it
