It is hard to say, both characters are coming off of episodes where they lost.
We haven't seen Death Battle do comic book street tiers since Iron Fist vs Po(2021)/Batgirl vs Spider-Gwen(2020), so it is also hard to say how much wank they'll give Miles.

Hell, most romance mangakas have no fucking clue either since they’re either virgins or they have no clue how to write and pace romance. The difference between battle Shonen and (good) romance is extremely huge and the latter requires a lot of careful attention to character emotions and context in ways that you can’t asspull your way out off. If we go with Canon gangplank he is a fairly normal athletic human with access to an insane amount of explosives + he has a "super form" empowered by the Ruined King (although I don't know if he can access this on his own)
If we go full apeshit with League not only he can scale to lots of characters but he can also get a bunch of item passives, League Gangplank (gameplay wise) has always been an abomination that can build fucking anything and still beat your ass from tank to critical strikes, full on hit effects, bruiser, lethality, you name it
