At this point I'm not sure if it's the "it's over" people or the "the game isn't dead" people who are trolling. In any case I won a $50 bet that we were going to get absolutely fuck-all for Starfield today so I'm happy, it help offset the $90 I paid to pre-order Todd's magnum opus and came just in time to buy a real game during the upcoming Steam summer sale.
