Big Bulls Banging BBQ in SC had the best meat by far. Their spicy BBQ sauce was killer too but the Carolina gold part was not my cup of tea. Second would be Wilbur's in Goldsboro NC. Their region does like a light brown gravy as their signature sauce. Suuuuuuper good hushpuppies too. And the blue angles practice out of an airfield nearby and were doing really low passes overhead the whole time. The sound was terrifiying but a cool random thing to come across.
