Different anon here, I wanna give a slight correction and give some added context to some parts here:

The image in that anon's post is the Trickcal Writer's (Paulppa's) response to what his favorite scene in the entire game is, not necessarily favorite story, although it could mean the same thing.

A bit of a misunderstanding here due to a lack of context. The Korean drama the writer was referring to is an infamously memed historical drama following the life of a Korean gangster known as "Rustic Period" (야인시대). A large part of Korea's early meme culture and MAD community revolved around it. Since Trickcal revolves heavily around memes, he's basically making reference to it in an ironic manner.
Also note that this is a callback to an earlier portion of the interview where they were talking about Snorky, who's entire existence is just a reference to Rustic Period.
