Wheelchair is such a lazy unimaginative solution to being disabled in fantasy.
You could have been a ranger that uses their animal companion as a mount.
You could have been an artificer that uses their contraptions like power armor, (even a mecha wheelchair with rockets and shit)
You could have been a wizard that uses their magic in a flavorfull way. (Big crystal orb, floating on their staff, unseen servant shit.)
You could have chosen to even partner up with another player, and ride on their shoulders.
You can have wheelchairs in fantasy, but they will never not look awkward and out of place in the middle of battle.
Maybe I should be more charitable and assume maybe that's the point? If that's the case then more power to them.
