Don't.

I've researched them and while they're fine if you want to make more than just ice cream (light/reduced sugar ice cream, sushies, milkshakes, etc.) but if you just want to make really good ice cream for the same price or less there are now nice commercial-style ice cream makers with built-in compressors available for the same price that freeze the base faster as it churns than the creami which shave-blends a frozen base like its Pacojet-based ancestor or those non-compressor ice cream machines that have you prefeeze the bowl and chill the base first (faster freezing = smaller ice cystals = superior texture) and you don't have to prefreeze the bowl or even chill the base (useful for cooked Crème Anglais or Zabaione). There are several 2-2.6 Qt models on Amazon for the same or less price than the Ninja Creami which can only do 1 pint at a time unless you've bought a bundle with extra pint containers (or extras separately) or the newer Deluxe refresh model that Ninja introduced that has larger spin-up containers.
