That's true I guess, I mostly meant it from more of a lore perspective than anything because I think the official explanation of them all traveling such a long way by boat is a little lame and also terible from a logistics standpoint. In an average battle they would probably just be used as motherships for the lanterns and on longer journeys the lanterns could be used as eyes/look-outs like celestial sampans.


Regardless, I'm still going to use the idea for /mydudes/ because it seems like a fun project and I wanted to come up with a fitting explanation for Yin-Yin's absence, the idea being that she's using the new technology to redeem herself in the emperor's eyes. It fits her adventurous nature, and that she would be jealous of Miao Ying stealing the spotlight matches her kid sister energy which I can relate to
