I just relate more to Kris than Berdley. His whole thing of wanting to appear the smartest, and being a massive gamer, it's just not really "me". Also it's implied that while he's not actually "the smartest", he's still pretty smart, and I'm just very mediocre. And on the other hand I grew up with very restrictive, protective parents and can relate to the feeling of being controlled by other people, as well as really wanting freedom. As well as growing up in a fucked up family that split up. And Kris's stuff of being a kind of weird quiet kid who has been ostracized or bullied before, and having a history of sometimes being antagonistic to others in the past but meaning well and wanting to connect with others and to have someone I can get into shenanigans with

(Also while Suselle and Krusie are my two main ships, I also do ship Berdley but I think he ships better with Kris than Susie frankly)
