spamming your sacred tools should handle every small enemy quicker than anything else. Wind seems to have the best range, but elemental weakness is important to consider.
long sword charge attack spam might be better for bosses, maybe? You can start the next charge as soon as you release the button so they come out pretty quickly. Again I think it kind of depends on what the boss is weak to.
