not sure but i'm 100% with you that any sort of wpsg griefing/camping is insufferable. at the same time, i guess it's confirmed that they are advertising being able to hit 60 with 100% pvp, including several tiers of leveling pvp gear rewards that you can get from doing the lowbie BG brackets.
the remaining discussion seems to be centered around much gold it should reward on top of the XP, to make it a fully viable leveling pathway since you need to do things like train skills.
this will be extra fun because there will be no twinks of any sort on a fresh. playing a twink is fun too of course, but it ruins the game for everyone not doing that.
even if BGs don't award gold at all, it sounds like it will still be worth it to queue those when solo leveling (i.e., running around questing), as each BG finished BG will grant exp equivalent to turning in a handful of quests at once. BG xp will be based on objectives more than HKs it sounds like and also seeing that each wpvp kill will grant a "fetch quest worth of XP" as well.
