Why do the IDW team try to hide behind the idea that comics are a dying industry to justify how little the main fanbase cares about it?
Always the excuses that they're barely sold in stores when they are available to purchase online. You can also get the digital versions too, even in regular app stores as e-books for 5$. You type in Sonic on google play and it's one of the first results besides the mobile games. Accessibility is not a real excuse and I'm tired of people using it as a shield. The real fact of the matter is that if the comics were actually good, people would go out of their way to read it comic or not.
Sega can see how little people care about idwnic and that's why they won't advertise it unlike their new manga series or the DC crossover
