yeah, if you don't care about MLB (it stings sometimes but I get over it) and C7 (lmao) you can pretty much get everyone. I pull basically everything except some of the random new wishlist units and I do fine as a f2p (other than some initial spending in the first couple months for the cheap 10 pulls and monthly jims)
your mileage may vary with luck but luck eventually evens itself out over time even if you don't think it does
