i fucking hate the fact that sega seems so deadset on barely referencing the franchise in other games (outside of yakuza, funnily enough) or doesn't make any spinoffs like what compile used to do. it shouldn't be that hard to do unless sega shuts them down like that fighting game that was apparently thought up at one point
