then the 30th anniversary came and it was just DLC for tetris 2 starring that blue bastard sonic and a couple more of those retarded gacha characters, at least everyone (sans the alternate costumes, onion pixie and dongurigaeru) are in now.
then we got puzzle pop. a good game but a massive spit in the face of every puyo fan.
now it's the 35th anniversary and sega thinks releasing a key card version of tetris 2 with barely any new content is a good idea.
now champions is just another fucking stain on the gradual buildup of retarded decisions sega has made ever since they decided to push this series in the west again. i've seen a bunch of people both western and japanese be pretty critical of them even outside of imageboards.
