To me, fun in a videogame is when I figure things out by myself. Unlocking a secret ending, stumbling upon a secret area, figuring out a strong build. Just like a crow would feel after solving a riddle made by its caretakers. Lately I'm exploring Noita and I made a wand that launches a homing blood mist that deals more than 1k damage per second, and when it kills the first target, it jumps to the next. Getting the same wand build from a guide would ruin the fun for me, figuring it out myself is what made it fun.
