Even season 1 of The Witcher was mediocre so he probably just wanted off once he was how it turned out. Jumping between timelines/stories was jarring. It was like they were trying to be GOT but couldn't tard wrangle the showrunner/directors/writers. It had potential and some good episodes but I never watched past season 1 let alone whenever Cavill left. Such a waste of potential
