The setting material books are generally really cool imo if you like those kinds of production materials, but don't worry about buying it if it's not something you're interested in. A couple ainons grab stuff like that normally so you don't need to be concerned about never getting the info from it, but they are definitely neat things to buy if you like that kind of thing.
