So assuming basic weapon options for the different specialists, I could field a team with a selection from watch sergeant, gunner, headtaker, marksman, aegis, demolisher, disruptor, and blademaster out of my current collection.
Sort of, my techmarine is a disruption specialist that I played as a ventrilokar until now so he's not quite phobos but he's close. Will see how I feel about the discrepancy.
All the big boy armour on 40mm bases is a bit unfortunate because my old frag cannon and infernus bolter are going to have to sit out (not rebasing these guys) but I'll have to wait and see how the rules of each operative looks before I make a decision about them.
It'll be great to finally have rules that feel appropriate for deathwatch veterans (assuming the rules themselves end up actually good) and that have appropriate weapon loadouts. Kit looks stellar honestly, better than I expected from what we can see so far. At some point in the future, either soon or after running out of bits depending, I'll definitely be getting a copy.
