I'm the "officer dan" poster - although from what you write about me, you're still combining a lot of random posters into me. Also, asking about the state of the mountains after you leave the campsite isn't asking about what state you live in.

I don't know where you're getting that I'm looking for a victim, or that I want control over content either. I understand that reading a lot of text on a small screen from random people makes it harder to keep context and read into the full meaning of a post (or chain of posts), especially if you've already got an idea of the person in your head as you read disjointed posts over several weeks. I point this out because it seems like you're feeling like you need to explain yourself or defend things, but I want you and your wife to feel comfortable, and I want to help you continue sharing more.

I appreciate you sharing your point of view and where it's coming from though. I'm happy to engage with the pics and learn more about the stories behind things. Personally, I was interpreting your posts as "there's a story behind everything, but I don't want to get into it", so it's good to know that now.

I stripped the audio out of the webm. This is what I was offering to do the whole time. You make a clip, and I can make it postable! :)

In this case though, the original resolution you had to downscale it to, 720, is too small for posting in /hc/ (this place really isn't meant for video), so I upscaled it back to 1080.

I'm not looking to control any content, I just want to help you get things posted...
