You're talking about a bunch of has-beens who made a MILDLY successful movie-game who are taking on a genre of games they're completely unfamiliar with, unproven records within said genre, about a game most people in this thread haven't even heard about nor are hyped for, amongst the plethora of games within said genre which continuously shit on anything that doesn't bring anything new or exciting to the table who already have feverishly established playerbases.

What on earth do you think is going to happen here? They should be shouting from the mountaintops if this game even breaks 1k concurrent players within the first week. That's how low the bar is set to even get a foot in the door.

Now, I've got no hate for Remedy and will willingly say on record I've not played a single game of theirs, so this post isn't coming from a "lE eP1C dEfEaTeRiN0" mindset, but from a dispassionate objective one. The task to even be seen is monumental, to be a success an order of magnitude more difficult in an already saturated genre of games that's becoming even moreso with the huge success of Helldivers 2 and every publisher wanting in on a piece of that pie (and so far failing miserably).

I hold no grudge against Remedy, in fact if the game gets off to a great start, the more the merrier. A good game is it's own reward.

Do I see that happening? Absolutely fucking not.
