My ultimate schizo theory is that at some point Hometown is going to be covered in darkness. Whether in Chapter 5 or later a dark fountain will be opened in a area where the roof is the open sky, and the town will be blanketed.

Reality will become fiction. Fiction will become reality. As all the lightners are dragged into the giant dark world, while darkners gain the ability to go wherever they want in town. We'll see Tenna again, and even revisit the old darkworlds or at last a part of them.

Also I hope you weird route fuckers have been sparing after Noelle's section in Chapter 2. You'll need those darkners alive for a massive powerboost with Noelle at some point, and they'll be stuck together in the closet dark world, like shooting fish in a barrel.
