At least with TAS and Prodigy you don't get the clear sense that the creators hate Star Trek, hate that they have to make Star Trek and hate you for liking Star Trek, which is very much the case for STD and PIC, and the sense that the creators are desperately hoping to earn a spot writing on a Marvel show, like SNW
