It was exactly during a meltdown for the end of Usagi Drop, so the OP asked for manga recommendations where the protagonist struggles with learning to be a father figure, but that doesn't end in incest.
And this one, along with Barakamon, were recommended. I remember the stepfather looked like the father in FCLC, and the protagonist looked like the character from Otomo's Memories, the guy who killed with his pheromones. In defense it was true that it didn't end in incest for the protagonist and his daughter, but if there was incest anyway, I find the irony amusing.

Yeah, I even remember a part where the protagonist morally debates whether it's okay to try to flirt with a 17-year-old while he's in his twenties, but doesn't say anything when his boss, in his forties and almost fifty, marries his teenage stepdaughter.
