So what exactly IS the long term strategy for Stadium as it's own mode? Because after playing it for a few weeks I really can't be bothered to go back. And it's weird because I really like the mode and there was such a storm among discussion when this thing was coming out, but after playing it for a while it just doesn't seem like it was as grandiose as those first few hours were on it. I was maybe expecting too much depth because at the end of it all you're just playing overwatch with some more perks and damage modifiers. Teamfights just feel like you shoot at each other until one team explodes. There isn't really those "wow, that couldn't have happened in a normal match" type of situations. I'd really like some improvements to the shop to make every time you're there feel like you're making smart, critical purchases on the fly. Not just picking items/abilities that give you a dumb perk and make your m1 feel better.
