So I'm going through the story as a new player, I'm midway through Soujorners part 1 and I get this is a sidestory flashback to dolls that the commander used to work with and what they are up to before the story starts. My question is should I read up until chapter 8 (the last one available) and then hit youtube to read through the events I missed out on?
I want to be caught up with the story so I can follow along with each event from now on, but I'm seeing people say there are events I missed that are essential to understanding the narrative, and there are other things I should be reading on top of that? What events have I missed that I need to read though, or rather where can I even find a list of what I should be reading?
I did a lot of watching videos on GFL to prep for getting into gfl2 and understand the background already, but it's honestly wearing me down to scramble to piece this together coming in late. I'm at the point where I'm fine skipping meaningless fluff events just to get the bare basics so I don't have to do even more hours of what feels like homework.
