That was Odalia's plan. The difference is she's fully aware the end result is genocide but land rights are going to plummet to so cheap she could literally own ALL of the Boiling Isles. She gets to keep her mansion and everything inside it. She gets to keep the EMPEROR'S CASTLE with everything inside it all the magical items AND its massive treasury and all the Palisman wood and additional resources the Boiling Isles has to offer like the location of the Time Pools

All this shit right here is actually so interesting I wish the series kept going just to have Odalia slowly overtime become the new Empress and just as mad. It would have been based but no, Dana hates fun and she hates me.
