Most who post online will tell you with a straight face yes, but that is because:

It's the ultimate pseudointellectual litmus test. If you see someone bragging about having one you just know they have a poorfag mindset as they want to maximise internet points or social standing by having the "le epic no-nonsense daily driver" with the whole "programmer approved" branding. Then if you point this out they will smugly talk about Topre switch lifespan like as if HHKB is the only Topre keyboard on the market with Topre switches and failing to realize that they could have got 100% Topre keyboard like a JDL or Realforce for equal to or less than the price they would have actually payed for the HHKB. All the while these guys will either deliberately leave out or simply not know that, while Topre switches have a long lifespan, Topre switches are highly susceptible to water damage and once a switch dies you need to replace the whole board. But they often don't know any of that because all they know is the brand recognition and marketing behind HHKB and how it is supposedly the patrician's keyboard of choice along with the appealing contrarianism of owning a keyboard that is not actually trully mechanical.
