There is a reason when people finish an unfinished concrete basement they frame it with 2x4s and then throw up drywall. A layer of insualtion in between and also a place to run your wires. This extra step unfucks part of what OP got so horribly wrong. Do the same for the ceiling and make an attic with sophets to vent the heat.
