Letting games get away with AIslop means that it becomes a competitive advantage to use AIslop. All devs start using AIslop. The industry gets noticeably worse as a result. Right now they're trying to sneak it by people, but the more gamers uncritically accept this shit, the less of a need they'll feel to hide it. Low effort will become more and more apparent. This was already obvious with shit like procedural generation and unreal assets, for example, and those are a million times less harmful to gaming than AI. There is no advantage to the consumer in letting the developer get away with using AI to cut corners. Letting developers shit out lower quality games at a faster rate is not to the consumer's benefit. Thus, the disclaimers are great and should be enforced so that people don't accidentally support the sloppification of vidya.
