drones, like all of the previous crap, has their place but are not replacement. Specially for situational awareness in war as birds eye view gives unprecedented accuracy in fire control especially. Direct attack drones like FPVs are at their highest right now as there is no effective hard kill counter for lowest level military units. Like mounted hard point turrets on armored vehicles. At least something that is cheap and cost effective enough unlike existing APS prototypes
