Bakushinbowl? I am itching for a third victory.

I truly dont understand this game. I am too stupid for it.

>Train Speed with speed and stamina cards
>Lose the first 2 races ending the career instantly.

So how does this work? Should I swap to the "!" events everytime? Should I focus on the trainings with the most "friend" cards? Just I just roll SPEED until the end of times?
