The only reason I really miss the pre-PF2e era is that at least when we were bitching about PF1e, it coincided with people making and running games, even if the concept of app circuses fucking sucked and just meant 10 threads in a row of people going "I WANT TO HAVE SEX WITH FAT ONI ASS" and theorycrafting how to do a mythic vital strike change of heart so hard that Baphomet turns into a big titty cow woman who loves them.
I'll bitch about paizo's content and their fanbase all day, I have tons of legitimate grievances about PF2e after playing a bunch of it (the feat tiering sucks and class feats on everything has been kind of detrimental to class design), but nothing about how they publish at the core changed. Paizo if anything printed both a higher % and higher total volume of complete garbage shit for PF1e than 2e. Did everyone just forget about the player companion books? Where in an entire book maybe one feat or spell would be remotely worth remembering exists?
