They say "machined parts" but scuttlebutt says they're just non MIM. MIM can be machined, or they could be cast then machined, but Tisas uses forged small parts I thought I read so it's believable that MAC would too. They're still going to be crudeish and not hand fitted, just not MIM

I had my LCI welded shut and it made ZERO difference, so that wasn't actually the problem. Its just the nature of 2011 barrel design to spew out the butt I guess
