i believe the perspective on the body is actually correct - my gut tells me the unfortunately misshapen foot is weirding the viewer out... combined with my assumption that the foot was drawn well after the actual illustration was done, to edit-in that effect of her lifting her leg out of the panel/page... that is making the viewer get mixed signals about depth and perspective. i cant redline it though to support my claim of
