I can't remember which prequel game it was, maybe Portable Ops or whatever, but i swear on my life i was sure they were going to reveal that Gray Fox was secretly Zero's son, adding in another father/son link to the lore. They introduced Null, who is a young Gray Fox, and the codename Null is similar to codename Zero. Both Null and Zero have gray/silver hair.
