I played every Mihoyo game out there, especially Genshin and Star Rail and for some reason, the MCs are just unrelatable. Whenever choices pops out, the options presented are out of this world things that I, as the player, would never say, or some retarded shit that I would have never even thought of. In Nikke, whenever something happens, I react and say something and then when the choices pop out, it's the thing that I just said. So I think the Commander is pretty well written, relatable, and feels like an actual character.

Story has ups and downs but I think the hype moments are pretty great, better than Genshin and Star Rail. The soundtrack is just as good or maybe a bit worse than Mihoyo games, since a lot of vocal tracks they have sounds Engrish.

Gameplay is auto-shooter. This is obviously the weakest point, because it's not even an actual game. The level grind is infinite, you'll be raising your characters forever since the level cap just keeps increasing.

Also, I only started playing this game because Guillotine looks like Fischl.
