It's been ~50 tries and I still can't beat EX Hellblade Glavenus.
Modifications today:
>swapped maxed out Hellblade set for unupgraded Rathalos GX, giving me weakness exploit where I had none, hot blooded, and +15 potential (extra damage when low hp, seems good because I'm at 1hp the whole time)
>swapped crit eye +1 talisman for talisman that lets me get evasion +1
>stopped bringing healing items altogether, i was just wasting them
>perma eat for insurance
>only bring hero drinks and might seeds
>watched youtube trannies do it, now know to face AWAY from the big telegraphed tail spin, which lets you rip the follow up spirit combo and actually hit
The thing I eat shit to the most is the triple fireball. Not being able to recognize it over the single straight fireball before committing to an evasive action. Evasion +1 is op. Being able to easily roll every attack I've tried to so far has made a huge improvement. I actually saw the pounce phase twice today. Potential gear improvements are maybe making a silver rathalos set so I can have tenderizer and critical up. Sucks seeing your skill hardcap so clearly. If I ever win it's because I'll get the god rng with monster attacks, crits, and no random boomer alzheimers fuckups.
