Some information we learned from the Ninjago panel at SDCC:
>Season 4 of Dragons Rising is coming in 2026.
>More Legends content and sets are planned for 2026—the sets have performed very well.
>Anniversary sets are also coming in 2026.
>Garmadon will not be returning in the near future.
>The live-action film is progressing well. Doc Wyatt implied it will adapt the pilot storyline. It has a big budget and is tentatively eyeing a 2027 release.
>Set releases in 2026 will be different—expect a wider variety compared to previous years.
>The Ninjago team acknowledges the older fanbase.
>Dragons Rising may run for 2-3 more seasons before a new series takes its place. Ninjago isn’t going anywhere—it remains evergreen.
>A new videogame may be coming.
>2026 will represent the past, present and future of Ninjago and we will get a clear picture of where the universe is headed.
>More Chima lore is on the table but a crossover is not a priority, might be explored in another series (hints at new Chima series?).
