I think rubric veterans would be cool
The TS legion had vets and other units that would be great for 40k TS.
I could see Melee rubrics, even Heavy Flamer "devastator" squads.

Don't waste your time arguing with people who don't want new stuff and are taking your ideas as a personal attack to them.
