The only possible way I can see a real OPM game adaptation is if it functions as a souped-up Asura's Wrath clone in which you get to play as multiple different characters. Saitama has playable segments, but mostly as someone doing menial bullshit like the downtime in No More Heroes, and any sections where he goes on a tear with no option for an alternate POV are where you go full movie-game and rely on flashy visuals and QTEs to keep the story going before someone else can take the mantle.

>everything up to Sea King arc has Saitama as the main playable character, where you do stuff like try and blow out the Hero Registry physical exam as much as possible via minigames or figure out how to incapacitate Sonic in the woods (multiple options for humiliation provided, so maybe you can bitch slap him unconscious instead of the nut punch) or are forced to run around the city looking for a bad guy so you don't get fired
>play as Genos against Sea King
>Boros is a guest playable character against Saitama
>Genos is the POV character again during the Fubuki intro, and you get a proper Sonic boss fight

Garou would have to be the most fleshed-out playable character and carry most of the back half, given how much agency he has and how many major characters he fucks up. The Hero Hunt and Monster Association arc would be when the game really ramps up, with more complex bosses and opportunities for the player to really pop off.
